Robert Joseph Loos

	Robert Joseph "Bob" Loos, age 55, of Lebanon, IL, formerly of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2004 at 7:09 a.m. in Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL due to complication of Multiple Sclerosis 
	Bob was born on June 17, 1949 in Pinckneyville, IL the son of John H. "Ike" Loos and Adriana (Bathon) Loos.  He married Joan Hill on April 21, 1990 in Woodlands, TX and she survives.  Bob was a graduate of St. Bruno Catholic School and Pinckneyville High School.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp.  He also was a member of St. Bruno Catholic Church in Pinckneyville and the Pinckneyville Knights of Columbus.  Bob worked as an operating engineer with Local 520 and enjoyed woodworking, hunting, and working in the yard.
	Survivors include his wife Joan Loos of Lebanon, IL, 2 sons, Jason Loos, wife Jill, and children, Joseph, Joshua, and Jacob, all of Coulterville, IL and Steve Loos and companion Summer Arnold of Troy, IL.  3 daughters, Valerie Loyd of O'Fallon, IL, Melanie Richardson and husband Greg of Sullivan, MO.  and Stephanie Loyd of Missouri, and her children, R.J. and Matthew, 6 brothers, Charles Loos and wife Jane of Jouranton, TX, Thomas Loos and wife Darla of Steeleville, IL, Eugene Loos of Pinckneyville, IL, Joseph Loos and wife Cindy of Pinckneyville, IL, Dennis Loos and wife Tammy of Belleville, IL, and Kenneth Loos and wife Elaine of Percy, IL.  6 sisters, Rosemary Bochantin and husband, Paul of Nashville, IL, Shirley Geppert of Dyersburg, TN, Florence Suchomski and husband Rich of Champaign, IL, Dorothy Wildermuth and husband Wayne of Pinckneyville, IL, Joan Williams and husband, Don of Florence, S.C. and Susan Jones and husband Scott of Aledo, TX.  And his father-in-law, John Hill and wife Vernell of Nashville, TN.
	He was preceded in death by his parents, and mother-in-law, Peggy DeHart.
	Funeral mass was held on Wednesday, July 14, 2004 at 10:00 a.m.  Interment will be in the St. Bruno Cemetery in Pinckneyville, IL.  
	Visitation was held at the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home in Pinckneyville, IL on Tuesday, July 13, 2004 from 5:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, July 14, 2004 from 8:00 a.m. till 9:30 a.m.   	The Rosary was recited at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning.
	Memorials may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
